Our Men’s Retreat is specifically designed for you and the men in your church to have an incredible experience. Along with quality teaching, worship, and fellowship with your group, the Team Competition throughout the weekend is always a fun way to connect and strengthen friendships.
Enjoy activities like arm wrestling, tug-o-war, cornhole, basketball, and the ever-popular chip shot. At the end of the day, you can relax by the lake and savor our delicious food! The Men’s Retreat offers a fantastic weekend of social, physical, and spiritual enrichment.
This annual fall retreat is for men ages 16 and older.

SPEAKER: Rev. Mike Fillmore
Rev. Mike Fillmore is an ordained elder in the Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Pastor Mike’s passion is church revitalization, multiplication, and leader development. One of Pastor Mike’s churches, Norwalk UMC, recently launched the new South Side Church and Community Center in the former St. John’s UMC building. Mike is a former member of the Iowa United Methodist Foundation, the current circuit leader of the Warren County churches, and on the conference parish development committee.
Mike has been married to his wife Kathy for a really long time, 🙂, has three adult children and four grandchildren with another on the way in March of ’26, and is an avid sports fan, including the Iowa Hawkeye Football team, the Iowa Hawkeye Women’s Basketball team, and the Iowa Hawkeye Men’s Basketball teams!
